Nesting Birds
We are a conscientious company and we aim to minimise our overall impact on nature whilst carrying out our operations. This includes nesting birds and other wildlife. The Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 makes it an offence to intentionally or recklessly disturb any wild bird while it is nest building, at a nest containing eggs or young, or disturb the dependent young of such a bird. As a result we avoid any potential disturbing activity (including hedge trimming) between the 1st of March and the 31st of July unless it is absolutely necessary and a visual inspection is carried out constantly to ensure we are not disturbing any wildlife.
